Birks & Caicos takes a recognised form and pulls it apart.
Built by hand in deep brown leather, the structure is deliberately rigid, the handles exaggerated, the surface left with its natural inconsistencies. Gold hardware interrupts the dark leather while the front plaque quietly carries the RNS identity.
It isn't trying to reproduce what came before it.
It is the result of taking something familiar and making it yours.
Every stitch, edge and irregularity belongs to the process. Small deviations are not corrected out of existence — they're kept. The bag changes slightly from piece to piece, making each one a singular object rather than a perfect copy.
